| Hand embellished Giclees on Canvas gives the collector
an opportunity to have a striking image. When the original is no
longer available, Jeannie does some painted highlights on a Giclée stretched on
a canvas which is the next best thing to an original. Sam
builds the armatures out of cabinet-grade plywood just as he does on the original
paintings. These take an average of 10 hours to construct. He uses a plunge-router
to build the armatures out of a solid sheet of cabinet-grade plywood. Because
these are not meant to be framed this gives the canvas the strength that a frame
would normally provide. Just like Jeannie's original oil painting the Hand Embellished
Giclees on Canvas are museum-wrapped with the image going around the edges. The
armatures are composed of two pieces of cabinet-grade birch, making the depth
of each piece 1.5 inches (see Ocean to the left). An additional benefit is the
Hand Embellished Giclée on Canvas can be created in any size.
Many of
these are used in upscale resorts and spa areas and many of our collector's homes.
